Apex Recycling & Disposal is conducting our annual Coats for Kids project from September 28th—October 26th. We are proud to be a partner in helping get coats for the needy children in Lane County. Often children in our area go without warm winter gear because their families cannot afford to purchase a new or used winter coat. In prior years, coats were supplied through agencies such as Head Start, The Relief Nursery & Kids First Center to name a few and some were still not able to fill all the requests they had. Can you help this year?
From September 28th through October 26th, Apex Recycling will be accepting donations of new and used coats at our office (2399 Hwy 99 N, Eugene, OR—just a quarter mile south of Beltline) and our drivers will also be able to take coat donation on our regular routes to make it easy for you to help:
Just place a new or used coat in a plastic bag and mark it “Coats for Kids”. The drivers will pick these up and we will make sure the coats are distributed to needy children in our area.
There is a significant need for infant and toddler sizes as there are many requests for these sizes of coats.
Nothing makes us happier than hearing stories about how our neighbors are thriving. Drop us a line to share your Apex story!
